lil' ol' me
Name?: Lillith
Age?: 14 (15 in barely over a month, however)
Favorite brand of tuna?: The kind that you buy fresh as opposed to in a can.
What about Hades particularly charmed you?: Gosh, let me count the ways. One, James Woods is possibly Disney's best voice actor, ever, two, Hades was hot, OK, three, I loved his method of speech, and four, I love how they betrayed him as both generically evil and sympathetic at the same time. Like, sure, he was your usual "take over the world" villain, but he did it because he was hated and neglected by the other gods, always considered an outcast, and given a job he hated.
Favorite Hades moment?: Um, I dunno, to be honest. I suppose the scene where he and Hercules actually meet for the first time (don't you just love how a movie can come together even when the hero and the villain don't actually meet until almost the end of the movie?), because I especially love when he walks on his hands...in thin air. Aside from that, I would say any scene with him and the imps, because I loved those two, especially how they were both loyal to him and yet not...like, on the outside they seemed to only be working for him because they were afraid of him, and were not loyal at all. In fact, they were ready to disobey and ditch him whenever they thought there would be no consequence. But the TV show shows them as being much more loyal and less likely to abandon him. Really, they always struck me as being like rebellious teenagers acting out against a strict and verbally abusive (not to mention physically abusive, but considering they're a) demons, b) minions, and c) Pain actually seems to be raised to be in constant pain, it's not really a big deal in this particular case, so) father. Kind of gives an interesting twist to the relationship, don't it? =3
Favorite Hades quote?: "C'mon, I haven't got all day. What am I talking about? I have eternity; I just don't want to spend it with you two." (Actually from the TV show, which I used to watch religiously, but it's still Hades, so.)
Zeus or Poseidon?: Eh, I'm not a huge fan of either, but I'd say Zeus. Just because he spawned more awesome Hades scenes/dialogue than Poseidon.

Well, that's enough of me rambling =3 Also, just got finished reading "Hope Springs Eternal", what is essentially the best Hades fanfiction out there IMHO, and that I'm sure some of you have read. If you haven't, do it now.

Ooh, you've seen the TV series? Have you seen the Aladdin crossover episode? It's definitely worth looking for, especially if you also like Jafar.

(I think when I saw that episode I spontaneously became a slash fangirl. But only for Hades/Jafar.)

THE CROSSOVER WAS THE BEST EVER! *sorry for the capslock* But, damn that was Disney television in its prime.

Ha ha, yeah, I've totally seen that episode xD When I say 'religiously', I do not mean that lightly. I *never* missed an episode when it was still airing here in Canada, I would just drop *everything* to watch it.

Pain and Panic are actually what turned me into a slash fangirl, but Hades/Jafar is pretty high up there amongst my favorite Disney pairings, too x3 Then again, having also watched House of Mouse religiously and played the Kingdom Hearts series half to death, Disney villain pairings have just been spontaneously slapping me in the face for a while now.

My IRL friend and I actually started shipping Frollo/Lady Tremaine. It unfortunately doesn't have any House of Mouse evidence behind it, just twisted minds.

...Ours and theirs, I suppose.

Is "Hope Springs Eternal" the one that had the awesome fan art with it? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I have to hook you up. The artist is phenomenal, and I had her work slathered on my walls for a good three years.

Yeah, it was. It had the illustrations with every chapter and they were truly awesome. I especially loved the little Pain and Panic montage when they were singing about Hades and Persephone.
